The REMY hope to change their recent form after two successive defeats during the Bank Holiday, including the heavy loss to Northwich Victoria on Monday. Their other loss came in the FA Cup to Sheffield FC. The 2-1 loss that day will hopefully fill the boys with some confidence, as they played with their heart and soul and only lost due to two great set pieces. This game is the perfect chance to rectify previous results and get our name into the hat for the next round.

Our opponents Glasshoughton, are currently struggling form wise themselves in the Northern Counties East League. They lost their first five games of the season, before beating Dronfield 2-1 last weekend. This won’t be an easy game and Glasshoughton will come to Litherland hoping to surprise the REMY.

Cup competition is different and fans know that form goes out of the window during cup ties, therefore Sunday’s game will be an exciting one for both sets of fans.

Anybody is welcome to the game and tickets can be bought on arrival to Litherland Sports Park.
