Phil Stafford's team will be looking for their first win in what has been a difficult season and will face a team that has been playing well in their opening games.

The team come into the game on the back of a 5-1 loss to Padiham on Wednesday, a result that has left us bottom of the league after our opening three games.

Numbers have been scarce due to the effects of illness and other factors, but it is hoped that we can turn the tide on those results and grab out first points of the season.

That will not be an easy task. Our opponents come into the game on the back of a four game winning streak that has saw them rise to top of the table.

Their most recent game was a 2-1 win against our opponents from last weekend, Winsford United. However, other victories have come against strong opponents in Whitchurch Alport, Longridge Town and Irlam.
