Retford FC can this evening confirm that Martin Woodhead and Jack Johnson are named joint managers of the Under 21's replacing Rich Williams who has stepped down from the role.

Chairman Chris Woodhead said “Both of the lads wanted to to carry on after Rich stepped down as Under 21’s manager at the club. After a meeting I had with them and the squad, it was clear to me that it was the right decision to give them a chance."
"I wish them the best of luck and hopefully the players we develop continue to feed the first team under their guidance this season”

They take charge of their first game tomorrow evening when the Under 21's travel to Swallownest FC U21 in the first league game of the season. (7.45pm KO).
