2. Junior Subscription Payments Policy

Subscriptions (subs) are collected to cover the costs of running and maintaining the club and facilities - this includes:

  • coaching
  • maintaining our two grounds
  • nets
  • pitch preparation
  • equipment
  • ground hire for many of our matches, and
  • insurance.

Where a family is financially disadvantaged (e.g. qualifies for Pupil Premium or other similar circumstances), subscriptions may be reduced. It is our aim to ensure that the club is open to the whole community. Please contact the Juniors Chair, Greg Tijerina, who will treat all requests in confidence.

Age group managers may request alternative arrangements for a specific set of circumstances. This should be rare and is subject to approval by the RCC Juniors Chair.

Subs are reviewed annually and approved at the Richmond Summer Clubs AGM.

Matches: players must pay a sub to be available for matches

Note that some age groups do fill up and occasionally we have to cap numbers. If this is required those who have already paid a sub will be guaranteed a place

For returning players:

  • Subs should be paid before the start of the season for all returning players.
  • Subs paid after the second Sunday training session of the season will incur an additional £10 charge. This is to encourage timely payment and to reduce the significant administrative burden of chasing payment.

For new players:

  • Up to two trial sessions are allowed before payment
  • Subs should be paid promptly following a successful trial and will be at the standard season rate (without the additional £10 charge).
