Aim –
a) To improve rugby skills and understanding.
b) To improve positional understanding in rugby.
c) To improve confidence with contact in rugby.
d) To develop decision making skills within a rugby situation.

In collaboration with ML Sports….
Richmondshire Rugby will be hosting a Rugby Camp for Yr6 and Yr7 boys and girls.

Date – Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th April 2026.
Time – 10:00 to 14:30 each day
Refreshments - Players will need to bring their own lunch.

Location – Richmondshire RUFC, Theakston Lane, Richmond, North Yorkshire DL10 4LL.

Cost - £35 per day per player. Total = £70 for the two days.

Coaches – Richmondshire RUFC will provide one male fully qualified coach and at least one female coach helper per day.
ML Sports to provide one male and one female coach at cost. All coaches are DBS checked with the RFU.

Daily plan – Outline...
Tuesday – Am = Passing and decision making in attack.
Pm = Organising defence. Finding/limiting space.

Wednesday – Am = Protecting the ball and the jackal.
Pm = Tackling and the ruck.
