---- By DOTD Roz Martin

Today we travelled to Chiltern for our 12:00 start. It was a great sunny day and we were all ready and up for a good tough battle. We started off well and had some great runs down the left hand side with lovely one two passing between the Zamburlin twins!

The game was end to end stuff with lung busting runs and great defending. Our defence had an excellent game between all of us at the back and great saves by Fran ( happy 18th Fran) and some brilliant standing up to some very strong sturdy players Holly Allday, was very well deserved player of the day with her sheer determination and great skills and defending considering she is only a youngster!!!!! ?

We got the first goal with Emily adding another one to her tally and then eventually Chiltern sneaked one in post a short corner. The final score was 1-1 draw.

Ok so here is the match report from DOTD, oh yes that’s me Roz Martin for (a) hitting he ball off the sideline on a free hit and then tracking back to stop the Chiltern attacker Cookie, getting through as she tried to get passed me she hit the ball in the air and it went wizzing passed my head, not that that’s not difficult some might say, but it was mainly awarded to me for my spectacular roly poly I did and sprung back up to stop her coming through!!
