The pattern has been broken.
The consistent win loss rhythm of the season has been disrupted with a well battled 1-1 draw against Berkhamstead and Hemel. Taking an early lead with a surprise goal from myself gave us high spirits. However, these were undermined by my second significant intervention in the match in which I gave a penalty flick away.
Arguably it may not have been worthy of a flick, but the decision stood and Berko and Hemel equalised. For the rest the match, we both attacked and defended well with Tess foley putting in a true player of the match performance and running riot in the oppositions D.
Sadly the draw stayed til the whistle was blown but one point is better than no points. Back at Teas, the electricity was not functioning and the jacket potatoes became baguette sandwiches, however we still enjoyed the feast.
