A dogged group have trained on during the summer, fitness on a Monday and contact on a Wednesday and 16 to the last contact training hints the rebuild is underway.

The club are delighted to have signed South African back rower Roy Austin for the squad and there is a welcome return for lock forward Carl Stevenson and sons Adam and Mike.

Contact training will now revert to the in-season venue of Frederick Gents School in South Normanton. Wednesdays (starts 4th September) - 7pm-9pm on the MUGA (trainers / blades - no boots) at Frederick Gent School, Mansfield Road, South Normanton, Derbyshire DE55 2ER. Fully qualified coaches, controlled contact can be managed. Showers and changing rooms available.

The Monday night fitness group will continue with impromptu sessions, again from 7pm.
