Girls' Rugby Development Fixtures

This is an exciting time for girls' rugby with a great deal of focus on growing the game. If you already play you'll know we have been pushing on with getting things up and running, and we are recruiting for our youth teams.

As well as being part of our long term development plan, youth rugby means that girls don't have to give up after P7 or go looking for another club to play at - it's all happening in Invergordon.

Scottish Rugby's Framework for Girls' Rugby is attached, and sets out how the game will be developed. There are two strands to this - Regional Development sessions, and club v club fixtures.

What this means for us is a Regional Development sessions on the weekend of 21st/22nd August and 4th/5th December (venue tbc), and fixtures throughout September and October.

We will be involved in a small regional league with Orkney, Highland, and Caithness and will play the following fixtures:

5th September - Orkney (H)
12th September - Highland (A)
19th September - Caithness (H)
26th September - Orkney (A)
3rd October - Highland (H)
31st October - Caithness (A)

This is a great opportunity to get competitive game time and we look forward to seeing some new faces.
