Following Danny’s recent appointment as Club Head Coach it’s been great to see his input already, both on the training pitch on a Thursday evening and behind the scenes in all the planning he is putting in place for this season and beyond.

Danny will be at coaching at least every fortnight, leading the coaching and taking team/group sessions on a rolling basis so all Club players will get the benefit, over the course of the season.

In his absence this week we have bolstered the coaching team by bringing in one of the MT13 (Matt Taylor, former GB hockey player and Head of Hockey at Nottingham University) coaching team. This week they will be delivering the Academy session alongside Jon (Bray) before taking the Club session (depending on numbers that may be Mens’ 2nd and 3rd team and Ladies' 2nd team) - so a great week to get yourself down to Aurora.

The following week Danny is back and will also be leading the general Club group session - a determined step and focus by the Club to invest in all our sides, beyond the Ladies and Mens 1st XI’s.

So, ignore the drop in temperature and come along - please make the most of the coaching investment the Club is making.
