Two Rotherham Hockey Club girls have been selected for the Under 13, Performance Team for the Midlands and will play in the National Lions Competition.

After 18 hours of intense training over 3 days along with over 130 players from six midland counties, Ava Massarella and Annabelle Ross were selected to represent the Mercian Marauders.

Annabelle studies at Worksop College and Ava at Mount St Mary under Rotherham Hockey Club’s Head Coach, Danny Berry. Both girls have been playing for Rotherham for over 3 years in their junior teams and currently star in the Club’s Development Team. Their club coaches and friends are delighted for this fully deserved honour, and we wish them well in the tournament in July.
