The Club are looking to appoint a Head of Cricket.

The Club are looking to appoint a Head of Cricket who will have the following responsibilities:
• Captain and/or manage the first team squad
• Organise and oversee Adult training once a week – Summer (Thursday evenings)
• Organise and oversee Junior training – Summer (Friday evenings)
• Organise and run a Junior summer camp programme
• Organise and run a winter training programme
• Run 1:2:1 coaching for players (Junior and Senior) throughout the calendar year
• Sit on the selection committee for the Adult Teams
• Run Continual Personal Development for existing coaches
• Create a strong junior foundation, focusing on retaining and progressing young players through to the senior teams.

The Person

The ideal candidate for this role will be a results-driven individual, able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of cricket in general and in particular the South Yorkshire area. You will be a qualified ECB Level 3 or above coach, with experience of working with adults and children. The person needs to be a good communicator, with one of the key parts of the role being able to work with volunteers of the Club. The person must be well-organised and have the ability to work on their own. Ideally you will be a current player who has good contacts in the local area, however, this isn’t mandatory and we would potentially be interested in a recently retired player who is able to build the cricket side of the club.

The Package

Three-year engagement
Part-Time – 22 Weeks (April – September)
Remuneration of £3.3K £150 per week (6 hrs to include Junior Training | Senior Training | Selection)
Additional Coaching Available: @£25 per hour
I. One to Ones with Juniors and Senior members
II. Holiday Camps
III. Winter Training Programme Seniors
IV. Winter Training Programme Juniors
V. CPD Sessions with existing coaches
*Please note that points one to five are paid for by the Club, the members will be encouraged to book sessions with the coach throughout the year and attend the programmes setup.

All payments will be made through the Club payroll with PAYE and NI being deducted at source.
