In regards to the tragic circumstances surrounding the match at Heath Park yesterday, we have offered our sincere condolences to the Culcheth Eagles Rugby League Club, and of course the player’s family.

We ask that the wishes of the Culcheth committee in regards to social media posting etc are respectfully adhered to.
This event has had a massive impact on players and supporters of both clubs and will continue to do so in future.

We will stand with Culcheth Eagles with the wider Rugby League family and support anybody who was at the game yesterday, in conjunction with the Rugby Football League.

Once again, our sincerest condolences to Culcheth Eagles and the family of the young man concerned.
