Ruthin Town Football Club has a proud footballing heritage dating back to 1880, when the town’s team reached the Welsh Cup Final, and continues to thrive today as one of the longest-serving members of the JD Cymru North.
Today, Ruthin Town FC is an FAW Platinum Accredited Community Club, home to more than 400 registered players and coaches across all age groups - from our Mini Stars (U6s) to senior men’s, women’s, and girls’ teams. We are dedicated to developing local talent and providing a safe, inclusive environment for all.
Run by a dedicated committee and supported by dozens of volunteers, we are deeply rooted in the local community, sharing facilities at the Memorial Playing Fields, Park Road, Ruthin.
Backed by the community and for the community, we remain grateful for the continued support of local businesses and partners who help us to grow and improve our players, facilities, and future.
We welcome new members, partners, and supporters who share our vision of developing grassroots football and community sport in Ruthin.
Ruthin Town FC – Proud of our history, committed to our community, building a legacy for future generations.
