We are sad to report that our first team manager Chris Williams has decided to step down from his position, the club officials, players and supporters are indebted to Chris for all that he has helped us achieve in the three years that he has been at the helm.
In his first season in charge, Chris steered us to safety and led us to a creditable finishing position in the Cymru Alliance league, in the following season we again finished in mid table and we also won silverware by winning the North East Wales Cup by beating Holywell Town in the Final. Last term saw us finish in a very creditable 7th place in what was a highly competitive league.
These achievements were gained through a combination of Chris and his assistants skilful coaching and by utilising the pool of local players produced by our successful youth section.
Chris will be missed by all but we have some consolation as are pleased to report that he is staying with the club as a player.
Chris Williams' assistant, Chris Hardy will step up as caretaker manager in the interim period.
