Ryton Rugby Football Club is not just about rugby, we offer a range of services to support the local community

Ryton RFC Weekly Round Up - Monday 1st April 2019

Ryton Rugby Football Club is not just about rugby, we offer a range of services to support the local community including room hire for all types of occasions. As an RFU accredited club and with support from the Rugby Football Union, Durham County RFU and Gateshead Council, we also work closely with Thorp Academy, St Thomas More and Prudhoe Community High and their feeder schools to support the development of age grade rugby. We have a timetable of regular events, they are:

1. Senior Men's, Women's and Age Grade Rugby training opportunities
Every Monday - U13/U15/U18 Girls Training from 5:45pm (John Holmes - 07780 680424);
Every Monday - Ryton Women's Training from 6:15pm - (Don McIsaac - 07879 443021);
Every Tuesday - Senior Mens Training (Nigel Aucott 07885 105434) from 6:45pm;
Every Wednesday - U9's, (Richard Ward 07944 105372) U10's (Mike Hartness - 07860 860326), U11's (Jamie Cruickshank - 07817758084) and U12's (Don McIsaac - 07879 443021). All mixed training from 6:30pm;
Every Wednesday - U17/Colts training (Reg Francis 07889 364280) from 6:45 pm;
Every Thursday - U18 Girls from 5:45pm (Robin Scott - 07791 042777);
Every Thursday - U13 Boys (Kirk Hooker - 07791 341731) and U15 Boys (Brian Hutchinson - 07969 210281) from 5:45pm;
Every Thursday - Senior Mens Training from 6:45pm (Nigel Aucott 07885 105434) from 6:45pm;
Every Friday - U15 Girls Training (John Holmes - 07780 680424) and then Occasional/Monthly Girls and Women's Festivals and Senior Mens Matches;
Every Saturday - Senior Rugby Matches - contact the club on 0191 4136128;
Every Sunday - Age Grade Mixed (Little Ruggers, U7 and U8), Girls and Colts Rugby Training/Matches. Contact Don McIsaac - 07879 443021;

2. Social:

First Monday on the month - Ryton Angling Club;
Every Tuesday - 50/50 Dancing from 8:00pm;
Every Thursday - Bridge Club from 7:00pm;

3. This week's events, include:

Friday 5th April - Ryton Women v Tynedale Ladies KO 7pm
Saturday 6th April 2019 - Ryton 1st Team v Gosforth HOME KO 3pm. 2nd v To Be Arranged - if match then KO 3pm HOME or AWAY.
Sunday 5th April 2019 - Ryton U7-12's training. U13 BOYS v Consett HOME. U15 Boys - Training. U17 Boys v Livingston HOME KO 11:30. U13/15 Girls Horden AWAY. U18 Girls v Livingston at HOME KO 2pm.

4. Club Opening Times are:

• Monday, Tuesday and Friday 7pm to 11pm;
• Wednesday and Thursday - until further notice 6:30pm until 11pm;
• Saturday 12 noon - 11pm;
• Sunday 12 noon to 10pm.

5. Membership

We are a members only club and all are welcome to join subject to the relevant subscription and our terms and conditions.

6. Sponsorship
