About the junior section 1 of 5

1. Junior hockey

Salisbury Hockey Club has a thriving Junior section with five specialist age groups across the boys and girls.

Sessions for all ages are run by SHC’s team of dedicated volunteer coaches, under the guidance of experienced ex-GB Hockey coach, Jon Royce. Jon leads training through all older age groups.

The season runs from September to April with other opportunities in holidays and the summer.

BARRIER FREE HOCKEY

SHC aims to be a barrier-free club, making hockey as inclusive as possible and available to all.

  • SHC recently introduced Flyerz hockey, a form of the sport that makes it possible for children with disabilities to take part, with disabled and able-bodied players enjoying hockey together.
  • Two Youth Bursaries are available for the 2024-25 season. Take a look at the details of how to apply now for financial support, that could provide a way to play hockey where you feel your child may otherwise not be able to do so.

Contact details are below to find out more.
