Its time for the November Shah Jahan goalscoring awards. Each month we reset and award rewards for goal scoring exploits in that month alone. This month the winners are ….
Women’s Top Goal Scorer - Nic George
Nic missed several games due to her time at the Masters World Cup in Cape Town. She hit the ground running on her return and scored seven goals in November including back-to-back hat tricks against Wycombe and Winchester.
The consistent Joey Bonner scored three in November alongside Jane Herridge and Oliva Parr who both began their season score count in November.
The previous months winner, Lisa Lovett had a quieter month scoring one.
Men’s Top Goal Scorer – Kynon Griffith-McCann
Last months winner Max Hamer scored three in November but that wasn’t sufficient to make it back-to-back wins. Kynon Griffith-McCann hit a purple patch with eleven goals in three games, two hat tricks and a haul of five against Gillingham. The 4th of which was also the clubs 200th adult league goal of the season.
Due to Kynon’s exploits, excellent performances by Andy Cowling (8), Mac Stevenson (7), Dave Hillier (5) and Chris Pearl (4) were not enough to overhaul Kynon’s 11. It does however make the season long competition very exciting and there will be more on that next week.
The family battle of the Robinson’s was close with Steve scoring three but with Jasper breathing down his neck on two, family honour with the dad but it’s a long season.
