The Dev's looked well in the game for the first 30 minutes, but struggled throughout with Woodcote's pace and movement up top. The defensive line were caught the wrong side a number of times and it was no shock when Woodcote took the lead around the 15 minute mark.
The Dev's rallied and managed to get back on level terms shortly after. The impressive Dan Gosling stung the Woodcote stoppers hands with a 30 yard left footed volley, and it was the Dev's front two who reacted fastest, Farrell squaring for Lordy to finish from close range.
The Dev's performance was summed up around 20 seconds later, when directly from the kick-off Woodcote split the Dev's defensive line with one ball, allowing the right winger to run through and regain the lead for Woodcote.
Going forward, the Dev's played some good football throughout, with youngsters Lordy and Dan Gosling impressing, but when you gift a number of chances to a side of Woodcote's quality there will only be one outcome.
It was again a make-shift side, so the Dev's will be looking to bounce back as soon as they're able to field a more familiar side.
