Sandown & Shanklin travel to Alresford for the 15th edition of the 2019/20 Hampshire Premier season.
The Hurricanes will travel with a revised side, following the home victory last weekend against New Milton & District RFC. An injury sustained by the returning Martin Richomme rules him out of this week. Zak Chiverton, Luke Hunter, and Henry Bagnall are unavailable for selection, along with Harrison Booth who also is managing an injury. Long term injuries have still kept fullback Ben Sanderson and flanker Harry Hopper on the sideline. However, the team is boosted by the returns of Damian Seder and Sam Branston being available for selection. There are also some spots up for grabs in this week's squad, with the possibility of some new faces potentially making the bench and their debut.
"It is important for us to maintain our momentum and finish the year strong, and this will be a stern test. When we travelled away last year, we suffered a dreadful start, but managed to turn it around in the last 50 minutes of the game. We know we cannot afford to start slowly against these boys.
It is also great to welcome back some fresh legs into the line up. We have done our best to rotate and keep people fresh where possible, be that through selection choices, or through an enforced time on the sideline. Hopefully, this will bear fruit in the coming weeks, as we see lads coming in fresh and ready to do battle for the remainder of the season."
