The 6 tag rule defeated us throughout the game despite Dawson having a couple of good runs getting near the Dinnington try line but getting tagged just short. Better support could have resulted in tries for the Green.
Half time score was 6-0 but the second half brough some improvement with good efforts by Jake Hellewell and Morgan Williams whose pass to Brett Howden saw him score the only try for Scunthorpe but a further four tries for Dinnington- resulted in a disappointing 10-1 defeat.

Newbies put in a try with Howden B however Vets fought back with a quick pass by Bradwell but unfortunately a clash of heads between Williams, Conroy and Barratt all striving for the ball saw a few injuries in the game.
Murr ran almost the length of the pitch but Newbies put in some good tagging to keep the Vets from their line. Brewster C managed to score just before the final whistle resulting in a 6-1 score.
