SENIORS

• Shipston Excelsior Football Club (SEFC), founded in 1903, is a division of the Shipston on Stour Sports and Social Club located at 21 London Road, Shipston on Stour, Warwickshire, CV36 4EP.
• We are a not-for-profit body dedicated to the development of football skills, good sportsmanship, positive team play, and the enjoyment of the game.
• Our aim is to create an environment in which football can be played, enjoyed and developed across all age groups.
• We aim to be recognised as the leading club in the local area and will strive to achieve excellence not only on the pitch but also through coaching and engagement with the local community.
• We want to provide facilities of the highest standard to ensure that those playing and watching are proud to be a part of SEFC and create a fun social environment for all our players, members and supporters
• Our First team plays in Midland Football League Division 3 and our Reserve team plays in the Stratford Alliance League, both on Saturday afternoons.
• 2 further Senior teams play in the Evesham Sunday league.

JUNIORS

• At SEFC our FA qualified junior coaching team combine teaching and promoting children’s football in the community with the benefits of exercise and having fun.
• Throughout the football season, the Junior section holds training sessions for age group ranging from U7’s to U16’s on Saturday mornings at Shipston Sports Club.
• Teams from U8 to U16’s age groups represent the club in the Ambassador Evesham Football League and Witney & District Youth League as well as several cup competitions throughout the season.
• Over recent seasons the Junior section has grown from strength to strength. Team numbers are limited by guidelines set by the FA and Leagues, with player selection being at the discretion of the individual team coach.
• SEFC first achieved FA Charter Standard Club (Youth) in 2011.
• We welcome the support of parents and family members and encourage them to attend and support the players at training and on match days.
