The SCFL have informed Clubs that they will be running an Under 23 league next season.

After consultation with it's member Clubs, the Southern Combination Football League (SCFL) have made the decision to scrap it's Reserve Section and Under 21's League this season. They will replace these with a newly formed Under 23's league.
Selsey Football Club have agreed to enter a side into the Under 23's league, as it is imperative that we have a natural progression from the Under 18's into the First Team. We have identified who we would like to run the new side and are delighted to advise that Miley Rogers and Joe Leggatt will head up the new team. Miley has had previous experience at Fareham Town, Horndean and near neighbours, Sidlesham. Joe is well known locally having represented Pagham, Arundel, Wick, Ourselves and Sidlesham.
The two guys ran the reserve side at Sidlesham last year and are very happy to be given the opportunity to carry on working with Daren Pearce. They have said that they are sure that with Daren at the helm the Club will definitely move in the right direction. They are happy that Daren wanted them to stay with him and that both he, and Selsey Football Club, have shown faith in them. They are already looking forward to the new season and cannot wait get started.
