Covid 19 Risk Assessment and returning to Football

All participants in football activity are to adhere to the below guidelines.

Our Club COVID-19 Welfare Officer is: Adam Gregory –

If you have any questions or concerns regarding COVID-19 safety please contact Adam.
Selston Football Club and all our staff are taking practical measures to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. You can access the updated Covid-19 risk assessment located in our documents page.

With training and match play resuming as per guidance, all parents/players and coaching staff are required to sign the consent form which each team will have.

For players/participants under the age of 18, a parent/guardian must complete the consent forms.

Before a training session or Match Play.

You are required to complete a Covid-19 self-assessment. No-one should leave home to
participate in football if they, or someone they live with, has any of the following:

• A high temperature (above 37.8°C);
• A new, continuous cough;
• A loss of, or change to, their sense of smell or taste.
• Shortness of breath
• Feeling generally unwell.
• Been in close contact with/living with a suspect or confirmed case of COVID-19 in the previous two weeks.

This check should be done before each training session.

Should any individual have demonstrated any such symptoms, they must not participate. Instead they should follow NHS and PHE guidance on self-isolation.

For information on the current situation for coronavirus please visit the website or call NHS 111

Anyone who has already been instructed to self-isolate by a health care practitioner or PHE should continue to follow this advice and may not participate.
