WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT
Selston FC in line with all other clubs has introduced the NHS Track and Trace system using a QR poster which supporters will need to scan with their Smartphone after downloading the NHS Covid-19 App.
The NHS COVID-19 app has a feature that allows users to quickly and easily ‘check in’ to the venue by scanning the code. The information stays on the user’s phone. In England, people who choose to ‘check in’ using the official NHS QR code do not need to provide their contact details. If there is an outbreak associated with a venue, a message will be sent to the relevant app users with the necessary public health advice. This will help to avoid the reintroduction of lockdown measures and support the country to return to, and maintain, a more normal way of life.
We are displaying an official NHS QR poster, the club must also continue to follow other government guidance to minimise the transmission of COVID-19. This includes maintaining a safe working environment and following social distancing guidelines. ALL VISITORS TO THE GROUND MUST FOLLOW OUR COVID PROCEDURES WHICH ARE POSTED AROUND THE GROUND.
All clubs are expected to fully support the Governments test and trace system. This involves displaying NHS QR posters at our ground to offer a quick, simple and secure way for visitors to register that they’ve been to our ground.
Players, spectators, coaches, match officials, staff / volunteers and all other visitors to the site aged 16 and above.
A manual system will remain in place where you must provide your contact details for those who don't have the appropriate smart phone to scan the code.
The club requires everyone to comply with the above to enable us to help avoid future suspension of football at our own club and within the wider football community.
