Welcome Kevon and Gautam

Settle CC has a long tradition of bringing overseas players to the club and 2025 is no different.
Please welcome Kevon Beckles from Barbados – a powerful right hand bat and occasional spin bowler. Kevon plays with leading Barbados Club Spartan CC which includes Wes Hall and Clyde Walcott amongst its former players. Kevon has played previously in England with Holmewood and Ribblesdale Wanderers CCs and we are delighted to welcome him to Settle where he can also develop young players through his coaching abilities.
Gautam Waghela is presently playing his cricket with PJ Hindu Gymkhana CC in the Mumbai Premier Division. Gautam recently hit an outstanding 112 off 89 balls in a 250 partnership to secure a quarter final place in the Purshottam Shield Tournament.
In order to welcome them we are seeking furniture, bedding and equipment to make them feel at home in their rented accommodation which is currently unfurnished. Helen Glanville m. 07880 730402 is co-ordinating, so if you have anything you can donate to make the lads feel comfortable, please get in touch.
Andrew Davidson has sought out this international talent and is finalising arrangements to bring them to Settle. Please give these young lads a warm welcome. Your support will make a huge difference, a smile, a warm hat or shared meal may really be appreciated.
