Hi all,

Last Friday saw our First’s final local derby of the season as we returned to the main pitch in Thomond Park to play Bohs in the return fixture. The match was an exciting encounter with the lads racking up another bonus point win. Five tries saw us emerge from the encounter victorious and it is really exciting to see the form and enthusiasm shown by our senior side. Fionn McGibney was in fantastic form on the night bagging 16 points between a try, conversion and penalties, Jack Stafford was also on hand securing 7 points with Conor Glynn, Greg O’Shea and Stephen Fitzgerald all crossing over the line for a try a piece. A bonus point was also awarded leaving us victorious with a scoreline of 43-20. Find the full match centre here.

Our ladies also took on Bohs on the back pitch in Thomond Park this weekend. A great team performance saw the girls coast through the match and emerge victorious with a score line of 22-0. Another u18s graduated through the ranks and graduated to the seniors so big congratulations to Jane McCarthy on her debut! It was another great win for the ladies who are now through to the League Play offs against Bantry in Coonagh on Sunday. All support is most welcome as the ladies kick off at 1.15pm with the Junior Cup kicking off at 2pm – come out early and lend the ladies your support!

This weekend is a massive weekend for our thirds who face old rivals Richmond in the McInerney Cup final!! The match is fixed for the Canal Bank so anyone who can’t make it to Cork for the Firsts match, please come along and lend your support to the thirds on what is a huge occasion for the club and our first chance of silverware this season! Regardless of the result we are massively proud of our thirds so far, this season, the lads have represented the club with pride and integrity and we wish them all the very best of luck in the final!

There will be a bus travelling to Cork for our firsts match v Dolphin on Saturday. Anyone interested should contact John Leahy on 086 2562730 or Vinny McMahon on 087 2518604.
