We are delighted to announce that our very own Billy Franklin has been selected for the Lancashire County u13 Cricket Squad.

This is a momentous achievement for Billy who has been at Shaw since he was 6.

Billy has trained hard for the last couple of years both at the club and also doing many extra training and 1:1 sessions.

His relentless hard work has paid off.

Billy’s bowling speed is quick, he consistently bowls line and length and can vary his deliveries to bamboozle the most accomplished of batters.

He has done well with the bat, as witnessed this season at Shaw, and his ability to score runs and remain at the crease has helped the u13s and u15s this season.

From everyone at Shaw, I would like to congratulate Billy on the amazing achievement, and we are excited to watch his progress with Lancs in the years ahead.
