It's a victory for the U14s at Eastmoor today.

Hawks U14s take the win at Eastmoor Dragons.

Sheffield Hawks U14s returned to summer rugby this Sunday to face Eastmoor Dragons away for the first time this season, dominating the first half and finishing with a 50 – 26 victory.
It was just a short journey up the M1 for the Hawks this morning over to Eastmoor to face their U14s for the 1st time this season. A cloudy but warm day meant the weather was perfect for what turned out to be a pleasing match for the Hawks.
Despite the Dragons putting down the ball within the 1st 5 minutes, the Hawks did not let their heads go down and proceeded to dominate the first half with their first score on the board by Hooker, George Hill followed closely a few minutes later by Rodine Azemia, the 1st of 2 tries by the Hawks Centre.
With a successful conversion from kicker Aaron Knowles the Hawks began to increase the lead, this becoming more evident with 2 of 3 tries from stand off Jack Toner, and a try each from props Jack Lister and Joseph Ball. Eastmoor successful in their attempt to put another couple of tries down, both converting closing the gap before Hawks full back Ethan Platt put down a try which was converted to take us to half time.
Eastmoor showed steely determination going into the 2nd half, they had everything to play for and needed a strong performance to begin closing the gap in the score which they did with 2 further tries and a conversion and although they fought on it was not going to be enough as a further 4 tries from Sheffield and 2 conversions sealed the winning deal and Sheffield took the win at the final whistle.
