On Saturday, we welcome Thurrock to the Club and we've a splendid new menu from the Grocott Stuart cook book.
As autumn arrives, we know this new season's fare will be a diner's delight.
There'll be mushrooms, parsnips, broccoli and rich, braised beef for the meat eaters. Vegetarians, you'll enjoy some wonderful tasty gnocchi, freshly-made in our own Club kitchen.
This will be followed by a boozy 'Hug-in-a-Cup'... but be aware, there's strict portion control on this one!
Fillet of beef. Braised beef cheek.
Fondant potatoes. Tender stem broccoli. Roast parsnip purée. Pickled shimeji mushrooms.
Onion crisp. Dehydrated tomato & red wine reduction (gluten free).
Sage Gnocchi. Butternut squash purée & Mushrooms (gluten free).
Bailey's Crème brûlée, espresso caviar & Grandma Stuart's shortbread biscuit (gluten free available)
along with an English Cheeseboard and biscuits
