Shelley U16 Ability Counts team went through to the national finals of the People FA Cup Junior disability section as runners up in the Manchester Regional "semi-final" tournament yesterday. The team had qualified for the semi-finals after a tournament in Sheffield in February where they beat teams from Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham and South Tyneside. There were 8 teams competing from across the North West yesterday and despite losing to Bradford in the final they still go through as both finalists qualify.
