

Shepshed continued where they had ended last weeks game against Brocton on the front foot with Levi Porter and Courtney Meade combining well early on but Meade's effort went wide.
Shepshed took the lead in the seventeenth minute Porter's low shot beating Jake Want at his left post.
Shepshed then seemed to switch off and Dunkirk looked far from being a side bottom of the table and with only nine points show for it. On nineteen minutes Ryan Thacker came for a left hand cross but slipped under the heavy conditions leaving Dexter Atkinson a free header at the far post to equalise. Two minutes later Meade nearly restored Shepsheds lead but Want managed to tip his effort over the bar.
Dunkirk took the lead on twenty one minutes a mistake by Alvin Jarvis put Phil Massingham through to slot passed Thacker.
This seemed to shake Shepshed up Steve Towers putting Adam Vasey through on goal on twenty nine minutes again Want tipping it over the bar. Eight minutes later and Towers himself fired wide. On forty minutes Want for the third time in the game tipped a Shepshed effort over the bar again from Vasey.
Shepshed levelled on the stroke of half time Porter's cross finding the head of Meade to beat Want.
Shepshed came out determind in the second half to gain all three points. Three minutes into the half Porter put Vasey through but his effort went over the bar and two minutes later Vasey's shot was saved by Want.
Shepshed took the lead on seventy three minutes substitute Brett Darby combining with Meade and Meade providing the resultant finish.
Dunkirk responded Atkinson through on goal was stopped by a timely interception by Jarvis from the resultant corner Ryan Hastie's header was tipped over by Thacker.
On seventy eight minutes Shepshed gained their fourth a neat free kick conjured up by Porter found Danny Chapman to beat Want. Three minutes later and it was five - two Steve Towers the Shepshed goalscorer.
Towers then went close again three minutes later but his effort was saved by Want and with Dunkirk running out of steam Towers and Darby linked up well but Porter's effort went wide
With the game going into injury time Darby had an effort go wide and Want made one final save from Meade.
A hard earned three points against a resolute Dunkirk side, Next up a Leicestershire derby away to Kirby Muxloe.
