This weekend sees the First Team head off to Laithwaite Park to play Gidlow Athletic, just three weeks since a 4-2 victory for us on the Recreation Ground. The U14s are also on Laithwaite Park in their fixture against Rainford Rangers. Kick off on that one is 9:30.
The U7s split in to two teams into two teams on Sunday in the Soccerdome. As usual the teams will play two games each all both matches kick off at 10:20 & 10:40. Good luck to the new sides there. U9 are paired against Astley & Tyldesley on Sunday, not sure where the team is playing as they are scheduled away but the location is a home game on the WYFL website. U10 Sky continue their impressive start with a home game at Abraham Guest against Ashton Athletic at 13:00, whilst upto the time of writing the Navy team was looking into a friendly fixture. U11 Sky look to maintain their unbeaten start when they travel to Leigh Genesis and the U11 Blue team have no game again with their coach sunning himself in Spain. U12 Sky play Appley Bridge at Laithwaite, Navy face Cherrybrook and the Blues look for another three points away at Standish Panthers. U13, pictured above are on Laithwaite also against Hindley Juniors and U15 travel away to face Horwich St Marys. U16 have a weekend off as Westhoughton postponed their game.
With the U16s not having a game on Sunday I will be pitch walking again with the Soccerdome and Abraham Guest the likely ports of call. Enjoy the weekend and I will post our round up about 5pm Sunday.
