Shipston Awarded Walk-Over Victory

Shipston were awarded the victory and picked up 5 points without a minute being played on Saturday, as Old Wheatleyans unfortunately couldn't get a front row and therefore had to forfeit the match. It didn't go much better for the second XV, who had their fixture against Southam called off at the last hour as well, with the visitors unable to get a side together also.

This meant that a match between the first and second XV's took place so as not to waste the weekend. Interestingly refereed by Mr Rob Hawkins, it was a very enjoyable afternoon, with some good rugby on offer from both sides.

There is now a two week break in league action for The Rams before they play again on 11th March away at Woodrush.
