Superb win 29-19

Well done to the boys ending The Old Laurentians unbeaten run 29 -19 on the First Team Pitch at Shipston last Sunday. A real team performance with some outstanding tackling from Shipston and showing that superior skill wins the day. A special mention to Archie Wood ,Charlie Yates and Zak Cooper here who were relentless in closing down their attack and along with all the boys managed to stop their bigger and heavier team from gaining too much momentum .The Shipston try scorers were Joe Painter (2), Ilyas Aarfi (2) and George Hendy(1), with 2 conversions by Adam Lane. All our team were superb and OL's are chomping at the bit for a re- match , so we'll try and get something sorted out in one of the spare weekends in the New Year.
