After the original final planned for a neutral venue on the 30th of July was rained off, Oxford and Bletchingdon Nondescripts kindly agreed to host a rearranged fixture on the evening of Monday 7th August at their Islip ground.

In overcast conditions Shipton won the toss and elected to bat. The opening pair of Freddie Sanders and Sam Eykyn made a strong start putting on 30 runs for the loss of just one wicket. The good work was carried on by Abi Norgrove and Harvey Lazenby with some very tight running between the wickets and then with the excellent defence of Ben Chapel and Theo B-C who again managed to remain undefeated throughout their four overs.
Captain Arthur Sheppard and Finn Pemberton then put on a display of brutal hitting to see Shipton complete their 16 overs on 94 runs for the loss of just two wickets.

After the break the hosts went in to bat and some tight bowling from Abi Norgrove and Freddie Sanders immediately saw them under pressure. This resulted in some tight running between the wickets and Ben Chapel managed two run outs with direct hits to the stumps. Further tight bowling and wickets for Abi, Sam Eykyn (giving the ball a lot of air with his legspin), Harvey Lazenby and Freddie again meant that Bletchingdon never quite recovered and fell behind the required run rate finishing on 38 for 7.
