Shirebrook are back at Langwith road tomorrow when Parkgate are the visitors Parkgate have had a poor start to the season with only 1 point from 7 games a run that has seen a change in management for Parkgete and a high turnover of players Parkgate sit in 19th place in the league so will be looking to kick start their season on Saturday Shirebrook will be looking to pick up another win after Tuesday nights 3-2 Derbyshire Cup win over FC Bolsover.

Shirebrook Manager Rob Camm had this to say about the game

It was good to get get back in the win column on Tuesday night albeit in the cup. It certainly wasn’t our best performance we made life difficult for ourselves with a poor first 20 minutes but again showed a bit of grit and determination to turn things around. That sets us up with a very difficult second round tie away at Matlock Town but we are looking forward to the chance to visit a nice ground and test ourselves. Tomorrow we know very little about Parkgate if I’m honest. They haven’t had the start they would have wanted but every game they have been in as been a close encounter and they had a cracking couple of FA Cup games. That and a new manager with a fair few new players we have to expect them to come out flying. Despite a couple of losses last month the performances have been generally good and if we continue with that same attitude and work ethic we will keep progressing. It’s only our third League game at Home, The Stags are away so it would be great to get the attendances back up to where they was last season your support means everything.
