Shirebrook were beaten 2-1 by Teversal

ATT 87

The game got off to a superb start for Shirebrook when recent signing Kurtis Morley lashed home the ball from 20 yards out to settle the early nerves after just twenty seconds Shirebrook had chances to extend their lead but Josh Turner narrowly fired wide and then saw Cameron Barke save his one on one effort but things went wrong for Shirebrook on 34 minutes Teversal had been increasing their pressure without any real threat when the defence gifted the ball to Danny Fullwood who fired home from a tight angle and the sides went in level at the break.

The second period saw the game gradually affected by a strengthening wind and Teversal began to gain the upper hand and on the hour mark Teversal took the lead when Liam Vardy powered through on the inside right and drove home a strike past Daniel Hartshorn in the home goal. Shirebrook almost had an instant leveler but Kurtis Morley saw his shot rebound back off the post but that was as close as Shirebrook got to getting back into the game and Teversal left Langwith Road with all 3 points.
