Jordan was appointed as manager in May 2021. He had a extensive playing career in the non-League game, starting his career with Chesterfield before spells with Hucknall Town and Buxton. He had a successful four years at Alfreton Town where he was part of the squad that won the Blue Square North title in 2011; culminating in promotion to the then Blue Square Premier (Conference Premier). He had his first taste of management in the 2012/13 season with a player/manager role at then-NCEL Premier Division side Heanor Town. After a couple of further brief playing spells with the likes of Mickleover Sports, Shirebrook Town and Glapwell, he joined Glapwell as manager in the summer of 2014, and went on to win the Central Midlands League North Division title in 2016; breaking several club records along the way. Due to off-field troubles, the club folded and Jordan was appointed as manager of newly-formed FC Bolsover, who played part of their debut season ground sharing at Langwith Road, and like the season before he was part of a Central Midlands League North Division winning club as they pipped Clay Cross Town on the final day of the 2016/17 season. He has also had brief spells managing Retford United and Maltby Main in the NCEL and is looking to bring the good times back to Shirebrook.
