Shirebrook got back to winning ways after Saturdays Derbyshire cup exit beating Lincoln Moorlands 4-1
The crowd didn't have long to wait for the first goal of the game when in the 7th minute a cross from the left was to high for the visiting keeper and it left Paul Sykes with a tap in at the far post to put the home side one goal to the good but it got even better 2 minutes later when from a free kick on the right Matty Ord teed up Josh Gibson who smashed a left footed shot into the top corner but the visitors didn't give up got back into the game in the 25th minute when Leigh Warman pulled 1 back but Shirebrook didn't let it get to them and they kept pushing for the goal and they got it in the 37th minute when Liam Greenfield latched on to a long ball a put the ball under the keeper to give the home side a big advantage at the break.
It didn't take long for Shirebrook to get a 4th goal at the start of the second half when Rowley burst down the right and was brought down and from the resulting free kick Greenfield cross found Josh Gibson and his header found the bottom corner to all but wrap up the game Lincoln were reduced to 10 men late on when Moorlands number 10 went in two footed on Sykes and left the ref with no option but to show the red this allowed Shirebrook to see out the game.
