Shirebrook flew out the traps with Kenan McKenzie Gray, Sheldon Jordan and Kieran Ordidge all having chances in the opening 10 minutes.
Mackenzie Grey again went close in the 12th minute with his effort being saved by the Teversal keeper from point blank range however Teversal began to grow into the game and soon started to get chances of their own Jack McWilliams, Jake Allen and Jak Lightly all took aim from distance and all saw there efforts fly over the bar Allen again went close forcing Tomlinson into a great save.
But it was Shirebrook who took the lead in the 41st minute when Kenan McKenzie Gray raced away down the right and smashed in from a tight angle however Shirebrook couldn’t hang on till half time as Teversal pulled level through Cameron Pinnick and the sides went in level at the break.
Shirebrook again started the stronger of the two teams in the second half with Keiron Sykes Tobin and Josh Devereux both having chances for Shirebrook but Teversal again began to get on top with with ex Shirebrook player George Simpson and Callum Milner both going close however it was Shirebrook who took the lead in the 77th minute when Josh Devereux hit a free kick into the top corner from 25 yards out and minutes later Devereux almost pulled another one from the top draw with his free kick this time hitting the crossbar and Shirebrook wrapped up the points in the 81st minute when Jessop was played in down the left and raced away and crossed for Sheldon Jordan to tap in from close range however Teversal almost pulled a goal back in injury time but George Simpson headed over from close range but it was Shirebrook who claimed all three points and their first win of the season.
