The Bears had a difficult start to life in the Oakbourne & Coronation Football League. Losing a considerable chunk of the squad in the summer meant a big rebuild for Lloyd and the Management Team which took the best half of the campaign to complete.

Despite the obvious challenges which came with this, Shire Oak still managed to finish in a safe mid table position of 8th, which was in line with the realistic goals they set out in preseason.

With the hard work of replenishing the squad now done, it's time for them to kick on in their second season in the league. They will be aiming for a top 4 place minimum in the 2022/23 campaign.
