Shots and Chasers had a fantastic season having been promoted to Division 2 of the Basingstoke League at the start of the 2013 winter season, and finishing it in third place, a testament to the hard work and determination the team have displayed this year.

The team just missed out on promotion, finishing on the same points as second place, but missing out via the goal difference. This season the team lost a few players to injury midway through a very successful start to the season, resulting in players learning new positions that they had not played before. The team showed great versatility in adapting to this, shown in the outstanding final standings in the league.

Overall an extremely successful season for Shots and Chasers, who, despite only just being promoted to this league, proved to be a strong team, who led the table for most of the winter. A promising glimpse of further successes next winter season, and hopefully promotion to Division one next year.

Massive thank you to our two captains, Holly and Laura, for leading the team to this impressive position in the league and for keeping our heads up when things weren't going our way! And a huge thank you to Coach Kim for working hard with us, to make us into such a strong team!

Also congratulations must be given to Starz Purple who won the league, and also to Tadley 2, who came second. It was a competitive and exciting end to the season.
