Shots and Chasers were newly promoted to Division One last season, and with several players missing from the setup this 2015/16 season were not sure we would even be able to put a team out for every match, let alone do so well in the league!

Proving once again that the team are a strong squad, versatile in positions and constantly striving to improve performance, we did amazingly, surprising ourselves by finishing second in the table, losing only two games both of which were to the top team!

We are awaiting the leagues decision on who will be promoted to the Basingstoke Prem (formerly Axa Wealth, but awaiting a new name!). This will be a huge opportunity for the club to develop further, against strong opponents, and will test us and improve our play, in what can only be a positive move!

Many thanks to our new coach, Sarah, whose training and guidance has undoubtedly improved our play and made us a stronger team going forward.

Congratulations to the team, who have all played fantastically this season. I'm looking forward to captaining such a fab bunch of ladies in the following season again, and know that the club is going from strength to strength, building our squad, and playing some great netball.
