It was a really strong team performance with a 6-goal win, showing great attacking play and solid defending throughout.
The opening goal was quite a scrappy goal by Eleni, putting the ball through the goalie's legs. We then put a lot of pressure on Wolverhampton, but they were strong with 3 annoyingly good goal-line saves. Eventually we managed to score with Edie getting a perfect deflection from a short corner.
10 minutes later Tilly decides she wants to run the entire length of the pitch, then passes to Bronte who sets Jenny up for a great goal with a lovely reverse shot flicked over the Keeper

One of the standout moments of the match was generously provided by Dee, who slipped whilst running forward, lost her stick, scraped all down the side of her and then very politely apologised to the opposition:
"I'm ever so sorry" (this cemented her Donkey status).
Somehow she still managed to pass the ball mid-fall to Lara, leading to another goal as Eleni scored her second.
Just 1 minute later Jenny struck again with a perfect shot from the top of the D. The final goal came from Jana, who scored with a straight slap from a short corner, through the keepers legs!
And not to forgot a great debut performance from Lexi who showed good skills and work rate throughout the game.
