There has been a lack of pre-final qualifying ties, as a number of local sides have opted not to take part in the competition, but that should not detract from a mouth watering game. Ovenden are the holders and Pennine League champions and Siddal's second string are the early pace setters in the Yorkshire Men's League Premier Division.

Russ Holroyd will field a young side who have come through the junior ranks at Chevinedge and they will be boosted by the experience of Pete Howard and Matthew Turner who are in Siddal's squad.

Admission to the game is controlled by the Halifax ARL and is £3 for adults and £1.50 for concessions
