After successive Cup defeats, we return to WMRL Division One action tomorrow to entertain Telford Juniors, as we look to return to winning ways.
The lads have a point to prove following Saturday's performance in losing to Brereton Social and to their credit, have put in two fantastic sessions at training this week as they look to arrest the recent slide.
Our visitors currently sit in 13th in the League standings, four points and four places beneath ourselves although they do have two games in hand. They've had a fairly inconsistent start to the campaign and have conceded ten goals in their last two games in defeats to Bustleholme and Old Wulfrunians respectively.
Ahead of the game, manager Matty Lovatt said 'After watching the lads during the week in training, I can't wait for tomorrow's fixture. The squad know they've got a lot of wrongs to put right and are genuinely eager to impress the committee and supporters once again. I've got a few more experienced names available to me tomorrow and i think these lads will prove vital in a fixture that we know is going to be extremely physical.'
Kick off is at 3pm at Long Lane Park. We hope to see you there.
