The 2018/19 Singapore Rugby Union league season will start on 24th November, with a round of games before a Christmas break and resuming play on Jan 12. This year will see a brand new Top Division (combining the premiership and championship) and a development league. This will end with finals on May 23.Full fixtures can be found here

The new format now sees 11 clubs playing in a single round robin format, and for the SCC Rugby Section, it will see both last season's champions - the 1st XV and the Tankards, looking to vie for the top title , which will be interesting!

The first week will see all 3 teams in action on the Padang on 24th November.

The 1st XV will look to start off their campaign, 5pm at the Padang against Bedok 2s and Captain Michael Oliver will want to certainly start off the season with a bang.

The Tankards will be led by Giles Kernick who will fill the large boots of Shane Dewar in competing for top honours this year. They start off playing Bedok 1s on the Padang at 3pm.

The SCC Lions, under new captain Jeremy Bird will be looking to dominate the new development league, and will start off their campaign against Blacks.
