First game of the season, great to see a strong line-up with most of our regulars and a few Cosmo players spending their Sunday to help out as well.

Playing against one of the new teams in Div 1, we decided to test their skills by putting a high pressure in the first 20 minutes. This paid off already after 3 minutes, where Alex took a shot from just outside the box and left their keeper without a chance. Brilliant throw-in assist from Rafa on a very narrow pitch by the way.

After 19 minutes Stabell was subbed on and half a minute later he converted his first chance - 2-0. Great to see our very own Locomotive fully recovered from his injury.

From this moment we had the game under full control, and with another goal from Stabell and one from Domino before half time, the 3 points were almost secured.

Second half's mission was to keep YDM from any chances - a mission that was fully controlled by Captain Stereo that swept away all balls and opponents coming close to our box - not much to do for our keeper today.

Other highlights from second half: a few bad finishes from Bugge (will he ever score for Vikings?), a great shot from So that forced the YDM keeper to use his hands, and a few very bad finishes from Thisen and Skov. No goals from those two today despite many chances - it will not be easy for Schoene to let them start as strikers next time.

4-0 end result - a great start to the season, well done boys!
Captain Stereo was awarded MOM with Domino and Stabell as runner-ups.
