A very muddy pitch and 3 last minute cancellations - not the best warm up for the game and with a lucky goal for SCC after 2 min, the chances of getting points out of this game seemed less likely than seeing a full Vikings team without hangovers on a Sunday.
Fortunately we all brought out a lot of fighting spirit, so we managed to slowly get back in the game although we did not really test SCCs keeper in first half.
That happened five minutes into second half instead, when one of many corners finally paid off. Panda was first on the cross from Fabian and flicked it past the keeper with his left foot.
In the other end our keeper of the day, Lucas, was doing very well in collaboration with the goal posts and the defense to keep SCC away.
Especially a save 2 minutes before full time was spectacular and even some of SCCs supporters had to applaud that one, and it also gave Lucas the MOTM title although many fought well for the point today.
Thanks to SCC for a good fight in the mud.
